Year of 2009

So i vowed at this first of this year to make 2009 the best year of my life and it already has been without the year even being over. here are the things i remember that have made this year the best yet. i'll be adding more and more to this as i remember :) i'm mostly making this as a reminder of each thing and when i see it, it'll bring up the whole story in my mind. i'm just going to add my most fave pics cause if i didn't i'd have way too many. there really are too many things to even post. sad i have to leave out so many amazing pics

i went to my first supernatural convention and met 10 of the amazing actors from the show

that's also including flying for the first time and being in california for the first time

i talked to my dad about something that i needed to for like 8 years

ATREYU

I recently went to a concert on 11-11-09. Luckiest day of my life. It was Atreyu, escape the fate, and Hollywood undead. I hope you’re ready for this one cause it’s long and also unbelievable. Well just to start, this Atreyu concert was the best one I’ve ever been to. So their cd had come out 2 weeks before the show and I had listened to it a ton and knew all the songs. When Atreyu came out I was freaking out. Dan (guitar player) threw one of his guitar picks by me and my cousin Joe so I told her to tell the guy to grab it cause she was closer and so she got it and gave it to me cause I was gonna trade her Dan’s for the Escape The Fate one I got earlier. So they played like 2 songs and then Marc (their bass player) came over to our side during a new song and played bass while singing along with me and then threw his guitar pic at me. It fell on the ground and we couldn’t find it so the security guy told us if he found it he would give it to us. Every time they said they said they were gonna play a song and would mention a title I knew I screamed really loud. Well there’s a new song that I am insanely in love with haha that I was hoping hoping hoping they would sing. The song starts out with just like the sound of a crowd and so the band leaves the stage and has a scream and then Brandon comes back on and starts playing the drums which is what comes next in the song. (Hopefully all that made sense). So when they left stage I started FREAKING out and screaming with all my might and jumping up and down. The bodyguard in front of us even jokingly went up to Joe and asked “are you with her?” haha. So when Brandon came back on stage and played the drum part I was beyond excited. Well they played my favorite song followed by 2 more and I still hadn’t missed any songs. So they announced that they were going to sing a new song called Gallows and I started screaming again. I guess Brandon had noticed that I was screaming and everything so he stopped and said “and this song goes out to that girl right there in front. She has known every song and our cd’s only been out for 2 weeks.” I was so amazed that the amazing drummer of Atreyu had just dedicated Gallows to me in front of the whole crowd. That’s pretty much calling me their biggest fan in the whole building. I saw Dan looking over and smiling at Alex (their singer). It was truly amazing. I still can’t believe it and it was 5 days ago. So they sang Gallows and then had one song left and sang that one. Then when the show was over Dan threw the set list to me and I got it. Then another member (can’t remember which one) came and threw their set list at me too. Then Brandon got out of his chair and got on the amp in front of me and specifically handed me his drum stick. I was shocked. It was super used too so some of my favorite songs were played with that drum stick. The girl next to me tried to grab my drum stick and I was amazed. Did she not just see that whole concert haha. So by the end of that concert I had 2 guitar pics, 2 set lists, and my first drum stick. Amazing!!! Joe was really glad cause she benefitted off of me and got 2 guitar picks too so technically I had 4 guitar picks haha. After the show I had Joe pinch me cause I couldn’t believe it but it was real.

-Pizzeria on Main St in Hailey. GO! It's my favorite in the world next to Lombardi's and Stromboli's in NY. It will blow you away- ENJOY!

so i asked annasilly if she would go with me and she decided that her and her sister were able to. so we headed out and passed some pretty great places like craters of the moon. we needed to take a bathroom break so we stopped at this place

and then we went about 30 more minutes and needed to stop again haha. so we went here and i got some fries and fry sauce which were actually really good

we made it to McClain's and it turns out we got directed to the wrong place which was the old McClain's

so annasilly googled it and found the right place. turns out they were just opening it in a new place and weren't opening until 5 so we had some spare time and went down town to take some pictures with a giant flamingo

so we went to some other little stores and the library while waiting to go eat at 5 and everybody in the whole town just seemed beyond nice. i was really surprised cause i had never experienced such nice people. no wonder lots of people live there. well we made it to McClain's and the lady that was helping us was really nice. here's the menu :)

we decided to order an 11" pizza and some garlic bread sticks with cheese. SOOO good!!! i asked if she knew if edna worked there and she said she'd only worked there for and hour so she didn't know. she said her name was heidi. i didn't understand that when ian said his family that it wasn't automatically meaning his parents. so we went to check out and i asked the lady at the desk if edna worked here cause that's ian's mom's name and she said no and that she owned the place. so i left to the bathroom thinking that we wouldn't get to meet any of his family. well while my friends were in the bathroom i reread the text and realized it didn't have to mean his parents so we went back to ask how to leave a tip and i asked the lady if she knew an ian. she said ya so i asked her how she was related to edna and she said that was her mom. so we talked about how ian was on jimmy fallon the night before and she asked me if i watched vampire diaries and i said of course. i then proceeded to ask her if ian ever came up haha. she said ya, sometimes in the winter and some in the summer. i said isn't he in new york right now? she answered ya, and he's been living in GA to film the show. i couldn't help but smile. what a successful night i had had. so i asked her if i could get a picture and she said ya, and called over her husband to be in it too. it was so cool. she was telling her husband that we had drove 3 hours just to eat there and she asked us when we were leaving. we told her we were driving back that night and she seemed really amazed. so she told us to write down all of our emails and she would have ian send a personal email to all of us. she was one of the nicest people. he seems to have an amazing family :)

so me and my amazing friend took 10 hours yesterday to make a video for mitchel musso's twitter contest and i was today's winner. today was the 3rd day and the other videos i'd seen weren't really very good so i was hoping he would choose mine. he didn't really comment about the others after he chose them the first 2 days but he did on mine :) this is what his twitters said

road trip

i know it's been a little over a week now but i really wanted to blog about the roadtrip i had with my awesome cousin. we went to utah friday night on september 18th cause the 19th we were gonna go to the dew tour!! so we drove there and stayed the night at my cousin denae's. she's so amazing for letting us stay. haha on the way to denae's that night and on the way to the energy solutions arena we had to find different ways to go because exits were always closed off. mapquest isn't always great. well on saturday we got up really early cause i was going to hang out with my TJ friends jessie and renata so we were only an hour late since we had to take a bunch of extra roads but we met them at the mall that we were meeting ryan sheckler at that day so it'd be much more convenient. so we hung out with them and then had to go stand in line and wait for ryan. the line was already really long and we even went 2 hours early. me and joe were really scared that we wouldn't get through in time (even though he started signing a half hour early) cause he only had to sign for an hour. i twittered some pictures that i'm going to put up on here. this is the adorable little boy that was waiting in line behind us :)

while i was waiting in line i recognized steve came out. not many people even knew who he was. only me and one other kid. he was on the phone so i waited until he was done and then went and asked him for a picture

here's the amazing picture they gave us for ryan to sign although me and joe already broght some. he was only supposed to sign one picture but he was like "whatever, can sign 2" he was sooo great with all of his fans and even took pictures with everyone. some famous people won't do that

when we got inside the even went to the left. but when we were inside before it turned steve came over and recognized me and asked me if i was in line when i got a picture with him and i said i was. i don't think everyone that was there got to go through. it pays to be early. ryan didn't get to skate either because he had an injury so we're really lucky that there's such thing as twitter so we knew about the signing. here's me and ryan!!!

after we met him we just went to the side and took some pictures before we left cause we thought we'd never see him again. later we saw him cause he still went to the dew tour just to watch.

we were pretty excited cause we got the best seats we could with the price we paid. right in the front on the 2nd floor. i also told joe randomly that i was craving mac n cheese for some reason

during the time we were there we saw chris cole skate and discovered he's like one of the best skaters in the whole world!!!! he deserved 1st place but got 2nd. his run was super dee duper!!

it sucked when it was over but it was a great experience. since i was craving mac n cheese, when we got to nae's, she let us have some hehe

we wanted to make our road trip one to remember and do something weird so after we got to evanston we bought the cheapest candy there was at every store we passed and made a beautiful picture. here's us eating our cheap suckers although you can't really see mine
